La Gran Cocina
Known for love of color, Mexican design tradition shows no fear of bright shades like that of the red pepper, Habenero Rojo. So Habenero it is for this commercial kitchen, catching eyes from The Gathering Room and even from the front door of The Grand Lodge. At night it glows like a fire, visible from as far away as the entrance gate! Well, almost.
La Gran Cocina is availabe for event catering by our Chef, or yours, or for do-it-yourself food preparation. The kitchen easily accommodates a long buffet line after food is ready to serve, by combing two generous work areas; one near the stove, refrigerator and beverage counter, and another at the sink, dishwasher, and food prep counter. An adjoining Butler’s Pantry contains a large walk-in storage area with a glass entrance door from the service deck on the west side of The Grand Lodge.
The commercial grade, five foot, gas stove has six burners, a grill and two lower gas ovens. Nearby, a large, commercial, full size refrigerator is situated alongside a full size freezer of equal proportions. The Breakfast Nook on the opposite end of La Cocina makes for a perfect buffet entrance station where guests pickup dinnerware, glassware and eating utensils.
