The Great Outdoors
The Historic Stone Stable is the place to enjoy The Great Outdoors, an outdoor space on the west side of the structure, available for enjoyment of all guests lodging in the Stable. Light a winter fire in the chiminea on the patio, and snuggle up to the thrill of howling coyotes prowling the wooded bottom below.
Watch for fallingstars, or bask in glowing campfire light from the firepit in the lawn area at the northwest corner of the building. Soak up some rays under a big Texas sky on a spring or fall afternoon, or simply chill to the sound of crickets under a summer moon.
For event use of the Historic Stone Stable, The Great Outdoors offers welcome additional outdoor entertaining space for small group Events Venues. Use the Tack Room as a hospitality room, and La Vista as an event center for serving drinks, hors doevres, or a simple buffet. With Add-On event rental of The Great Oudoors, guests are free to circulate from fire pit to patio to entrance porch and bath facility without being confined indoors.
Accommodates 50 event guests
