La Vista

Dubbed “The View”, La Vista derives its name from a glass wall that creates an atmosphere of sleeping under the stars, while enjoying modern indoor conveniences. The view is immediately apparent upon opening the door into the room from the covered entrance porch.

This generous sized space measures 14 ft x 25 ft and doubles as a living room and bedroom. It includes a small, adjoining sleeping alcove with a twin bed tucked into the cozy glass enclosed corner. A long, glassed-in opening frames the view of the adjacent patio, and visually brings the outdoors indoor while you enjoy creature comforts of central AC and heating.

Denim and leather theme linens dress this space furnished with a Queen-size bed, cushioned benches, throw pillows, and rocking chairs, for a kick-back and relax, “room with a view”. Added interest is provided by native sandstone texture of masonry walls, and family heirloom, primitive ranch antiques.

La Vista offers the convenience of a full size refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot, and a sleeping, living area and intimate dining room, all rolled into one. Bath facilities are shared with the Tack Room, the other guest room in the Historic Stone Stable. Just outside the door, off the covered entrance porch, is the lavatory common room with Mexican, silver-plated sink. Inside lavatory is a lockable, private dressing room with shower and toilet, ready and waiting for use 24/7.
